Monti’s Czardas – New Solo Series

My new series of arrangements of Monti’s famous Czardas is available for a wide range of solo instruments with piano accompaniment, including:

  • Brass instruments
  • Woodwind instruments
  • String instruments
  • Mallet percussion 

Selected arrangements are available in different keys and difficulty levels, including versions for younger players, experienced amateurs, semi-professional musicians and professional performers.

These arrangements retain the drama, lyricism and excitement of Monti’s original while featuring a distinctive rumba rhythm in the faster sections.

Perfect for recitals, concerts, examinations, competitions, encores—or simply as an exciting addition to your repertoire!

Vittorio Monti’s exhilarating Czardas is available in a growing collection of arrangements Solist & concert/wind band.

Beginning with a deeply expressive and atmospheric slow section, the music builds into the famous fiery dance, allowing the soloist to demonstrate lyrical phrasing, agility, articulation and technical brilliance. The colourful band accompaniment provides sensitive support before developing into a thrilling and energetic conclusion.

All arrangements feature a distinctive rumba-style rhythm in the faster sections, giving this much-loved showpiece an exciting and refreshing character.

Band versions are available for a variety of solo instruments, including violin, flute, oboe, trumpet and euphonium, with additional versions to follow.
