I originally created this arrangement during the 1980s while studying orchestration and arranging with the distinguished military musician Lt. Col. Trevor Sharpe. The arrangement retains the elegance, mystery and cinematic character of Barry’s original while adapting it effectively for modern concert-band performance.
Scored for a full concert band or wind band, this intermediate-level arrangement is suitable for film-music concerts, themed programmes, community bands, school ensembles and festival performances.
