STATE ANTHEM OF TRANSNISTRIA – BRASS QUINTET

Music by Boris Alexandrovich Alexandrov (1905–1994)
Arranged by Keith Terrett

A magnificent and stirring national anthem, presented in a powerful new arrangement for Brass Quintet by internationally recognised composer and arranger Keith Terrett.

Rich in ceremonial grandeur, patriotic spirit and musical dignity, the State Anthem of Transnistria (Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic) is ideally suited to the brilliant and resonant sonorities of brass instruments.

This carefully crafted arrangement captures the anthem’s majestic character, combining bold trumpet fanfares, warm inner harmonies and a commanding bass foundation to create a full and impressive ensemble sound.

Scored for two trumpets, French horn, trombone and tuba, the arrangement is particularly suitable for ceremonial performances, diplomatic occasions, national celebrations and brass chamber concerts.

A distinctive addition to Keith Terrett’s extensive international collection of national anthem arrangements, reflecting his longstanding dedication to preserving and presenting the musical heritage of nations and territories throughout the world.
